1. Maclurolyra tecta C. Calderón et Soderstrom, Smithsonian Contr. Bot. 11: 6 (1973). Holotipo: Panamá, Calderón 2084 (US!).

Tallos 10-80 cm; nudos y entrenudos retrorso pelosos. Vainas adpreso pelosas; lígula c. 0.5 mm, puberulenta en el dorso; seudopecíolo 3-5 mm, híspido; láminas 6-20 x 2.5-6.5 cm, invertidas, agudas; láminas inferiores muy reducidas. Inflorescencia 3-5 cm x 5-10 mm, con una lámina subyacente pequeña. Espiguillas estaminadas 4-5 mm, agudas; lema 3.5-5 mm. Espiguillas pistiladas 9-12 mm, agudas; lema 9-11.5 mm, adpreso pelosa. 2n=22. Selvas altas perennifolias. P (Davidse 25068, ISC). 0-500 m. (C. Panamá a Chocó, Colombia.)
