1. Lithachne humilis Soderstrom, Brittonia 32: 496 (1980). Holotipo: Honduras, Pohl y Davidse 12421 (US!).

Tallos 6-18 cm, erectos. Vainas puberulentas; seucopecíolo 0.7-1 mm, híspido; lígula c. 0.2 mm; láminas 2-6 x 0.4-1 cm, angostamente lanceoladas, hispídulas. Inflorescencias axilares 1 por nudo, pistiladas, con 1 espiguilla pistilada. Espiguillas estaminadas 4.2-7.5 mm; anteras 3.5-5.4 mm. Espiguillas pistiladas con la gluma inferior 5.9-9.5 mm, 7-9-nervia, escábrida hacia la punta; gluma superior 5-7.5 mm, 6-7-nervia; flósculo 3.5-4.5 mm. Matorrales densos a lo largo de ríos. H (Pohl y Gabel 13376, ISC). 100-600 m. (Endémica.)
