Group: Dicot Rank: species Kind: Replacement Name Herbarium Placement: Monsanto, 3rd, D, 280

Authors: Published In: Primitiae Florae Holsaticae 56. 1780. (29 Mar 1780) (Prim. Fl. Holsat.) Name publication detail
Annotation: Title page, ING, ICBN, and TL2 credit (solely) "F.H. Wigg." as Taraxacum generic author. ING, TL2, & t.p. credit Wiggers as author of Taraxacum officinale, but the Jarvis-Linn web page and ICBN [mistaken as genus & spp. are clearly to be credited to same author(s)] credit Weber as author of Taraxacum officinale. TL2 stated Weber was merely in the acknowledgments. Thus we have been seemingly incorrect all these years citing "Weber ex Wiggers". F.H. Wigg. is now accepted as the correct author attribution. (J. Pruski, 2010)
