Ravnia panamensis Steyerm. non Hillia panamensis Standl.

Arbustos hasta 1.5 m, suculentos, glabros. Hojas 3.8-10.5 × 1.5-3.7 cm, isofilas, elípticas, coriáceas al secarse, la base redondeada, el ápice agudo a ligeramente acuminado; nervaduras secundarias 7-9 pares, pinnadas, aplanadas en el envés; pecíolos 1-2 mm; estípulas 10-12 mm, obtusas. Flores solitarias; pedúnculos 2-3 mm; hipanto c. 4 mm; limbo calicino 6-13 mm, 6-lobado, los lobos ligulados a triangulares; corola infundibuliforme, rosada, el tubo 25-40 mm, los lobos 6, 6-15 mm, triangulares, obtusos; anteras 6, 5-7 mm, sobre filamentos 1-4 mm; estigmas 2-3 mm, subcapitadas. Frutos no conocidos. Selvas premontanas. P (Folsom et al. 5611, MO). 1000-1600 m. (Endémica.)

Hillia allenii es similar a H. longifilamentosa, y posiblemente éstas no sean diferentes.
