Plants medium-sized, elongate, dark green to yellowish green, in loose mats. Stems slender, prostrate, to 4.5 cm long, sparsely irregularly branched; branches simple, 7–10 mm long, attenuate at tips. Stem leaves ovate-lanceolate, 1.02–1.83 mm × 0.54–0.86 mm, gradually or rather abruptly narrowed to a slender, often reflexed or twisted apex, usually distinctly decurrent at base; margins entire; costae stout at base, reaching above mid-leaf to in leaf acumen; median leaf cells elongate-rhomboidal, 40–55 µm × 6–9 µm, with rounded ends; alar cells differentiated, quadrate to hexagonal, often extending close to costa at leaf base; branch leaves narrowly ovate-lanceolate to elliptical-lanceolate, rather abruptly narrowed to a slender apex. Autoicous. Setae ca. 15–20 mm long, reddish brown, sparsely and coarsely papillose above, smooth below; capsules elongate-ellipsoidal; peristome not seen. Spores not seen.
