Plants small, soft, slender, yellowish green, somewhat glossy, in dense mats. Stems prostrate, ca. 2.0 cm long, densely, regularly pinnately branched, with ascending, short branches, ca. 0.4–1.0 cm long, simple, densely foliate, blunt at tips. Stem leaves oblong-ovate-lanceolate, 0.95–1.23 mm × 0.40–0.54 mm, irregularly plicate, shortly acuminate, not or indistinctly decurrent at base; margins serrulate nearly throughout; costae slender, ending just above mid-leaf; median leaf cells long-linear, 104–148 µm × 8–9 µm; alar cells few, quadrate or elliptical; branch leaves lanceolate, 1.0–1.2 mm × 0.2–0.4 mm, plane, less plicate, often secund; margins serrulate. Autoicous. Setae ca. 10 mm long, papillose throughout; capsules elongate-ellipsoidal; opercula conic; peristome double; endostome segments papillose above; basal membrane high; cilia 3, nodulose. Spores not seen.
