Ecology. High open montane to humid puna, on soil and rocks. Elevation. Bolivia: 4150 m. Distribution. Bolivia: La Paz. World range: Rather widespread in the Northern Hemisphere, central and southeast Asia; in the Neotropics recorded from Mexico, Central America, tropical Andes (Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia).
Ecología. Montano alta abierto a puna húmeda, sobre suelo y rocas. Altitud. Bolivia: 4150 m. Distribución. Bolivia: La Paz. Distribución mundial: distribuida muy ampliamente en el hemisferio norte, centro y sureste de Asia; en el Neotrópico ha sido registrado en México, Centro América, los Andes tropicales(Venezuela, Perú y Bolivia).
Dicranodontium denudatum is distinguished by the upper laminal cell walls entire (not porose). This species is apparently rare in Bolivia, and little is known about its ecology.
