Plants slender, pale green, glossy, in loose or dense mats. Stems prostrate, densely pinnately branched; branches complanate, ca. 0.5–1.0 cm long, blunt at tips. Stem and branch leaves more or less similar, narrowly ovate-lanceolate, 0.81–0.92 mm × 0.28–0.44 mm, broadest near the base; margins plane, serrulate; costae ending close to leaf apex, projecting at tips; median leaf cells linear-rhomboidal, 47–95 µm × 4.5–5.0 µm; alar cells few, elliptical or shortly rectangular. Dioicous? Setae 10–15 mm long, reddish brown, roughened or papillose; capsules horizontal, cylindrical, strongly constricted below the mouth when dry; opercula long rostrate; exostome teeth papillose above, cross-striolate below; endostome segments papillose throughout. Spores not seen.
