Plants yellowish green, glossy. Stems prostrate or ascending, irregular branched, branches flattened, sometimes clustered. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, ca. 1.3–1.4 mm × 0.5–0.6 mm, concave, gradually acuminate; margins plane, serrulate near the apex; costae double, short, sometimes indistinct; leaf cells linear, ca. 70 µm × 8 µm; basal cells irregular rectangular, ca. 31 µm × 19 µm. Dioicous. Sporophytes located at base of branches. Setae slender, straight, ca. 2 cm long; capsules horizontal or inclined, oblong-ovoid, ca. 1.6 mm × 0.77 mm; opercula conic, long-rostrate; peristome hypnoid. Spores not seen.
