Ecology. Tucuman-Bolivian montane forest; on shrubs (Mimosaceae), lianas, trunk and branches of trees. Elevation. 960-2240 m. Distribution. Bolivia: Chuquisaca, Santa Cruz. World range: Ecuador to northwest Argentina, southeast Brazil.
Ecología. Bosque montano Tucumano-boliviano; sobre arbustos (Mimosaceae), lianas, troncos y ramas de árboles. Altitud. 960-2240 m. Distribución. Bolivia: Chuquisaca y Santa Cruz. Distribución mundial: Ecuador a noroeste de Argentina, sureste de Brasil.
Cryphaea brevipila is characterized by the narrowly ovate leaves, short acuminate apex, mostly plane margins, relatively ± percurrent costa, and short elliptical (ca. 2:1) median and upper lamina cells.
Cryphaea brevipila se caracteriza por las hojas angostamente ovadas, ápices corto acuminados, generalmente márgenes planos, costa relativamente ± percurrente, y células mediales y superiores de la lámina corto elípticas (aprox. 2:1).
