Ecology. Tucuman-Bolivian montane forest; on shrubs, trunk and branches of trees. Elevation. 1300-2800. Distribution. Bolivia: Chuquisaca, Santa Cruz, Tarija. World range: northwest Argentina, Bolivia and southeast Brazil.
 
Ecología. Bosque montano Tucumano-boliviano; sobre arbustos, troncos y ramas de árboles. Altitud. 1300-2800. Distribución. Bolivia: Chuquisaca, Santa Cruz y Tarija. Distribución normal: noroeste de Argentina, Bolivia y sureste de Brasil.
 
Cryphaea rhacomitrioides is characterized by the oblong-lanceolate leaves, subpercurrent costa (sometimes appearing percurrent), rhombic upper laminal cells (ca. 22 µm long).
 
Cryphaea rhacomitrioides se caracteriza por las hojas oblongo-lanceoladas, costa subpercurrente (algunas veces de apariencia percurrente), células superiores de la lámina rómbicas (ca. 22 µm de largo).
