Notes:

      Ecology: Open montane; on soil. Elevation: 2200 m elevation. Distribution: Endemic to Colombia.

      The two species recorded from Colombia can be differentiated by the following sporophytic features: capsules globose in P. subenervis and capsules elliptic-rounded in P. lindigianium.

      Specimens: COLOMBIA. Cundinamarca: Lindig s.n. (BM).
