general taxon notes:
Koponen (1987) treated Eurhynchium longirameum as a synonym of E. serricuspis Müll. Hal.; however, we consider the latter belonging to Bryhnia. Eurhynchium longirameum is similar to E. hians, but it differs by the leaves with broader leaf bases and narrowly acute leaf apices, and by the julaceous and attenuate branches.
