Didymodon incurvus is characterized by the oblong-lanceolate leaves to 1.2 mm that are appressed when dry, unistratose lamina, obtuse apex, incurved leaf margins above midleaf, ventral stereids absent, and bulging pad of cells on the ventral costa. The distal incurved margins are a feature not found in any other Andean Didymodon.
Didymodon incurvus se caracteriza por tener hojas oblongo-lanceoladas hasta 1.2 mm que son adpresas en seco, lámina uniestratificada, ápices obtusos, márgenes de las hojas incurvados encima de media hoja, sin estereidas ventrales, y cojín abultado de células en la superficie ventral de la costa. La porción distal de los márgenes incurvada es una característica que no se encuentra en otro Didymodon andino.
