Perianth segments 6, valvate, connate proximally, forming a tube. Corona absent. Stamens 6, adnate to perianth tube, anthers basifixed to dorsifixed, versatile. Pistil tricarpellary, syncarpous, trilocular, axile placentation. Fruit a berry, globose.
