Annual branched herbs. Stems procumbent, hairy. Flowers small, solitary, axillary or paired. Calyx 5-partite, accrescent in fruit. Corolla tube short, ± cylindrical. Throat scales 5, lobes obtuse spreading. Stamens 5, included. Style short. Nutlets 4, erect.
