No. of species in Fl. Madagasc.: This genus has been treated in the Flora under the three genera Diporidium Wendl., Discladium Tiegh. and Ochnella Tiegh. Callmander & Phillipson (2012) transfered the three species Diporidium (2) and Discladium (1) to Ochna.
