Stamens 4-6; filaments filiform, slightly adnate to the tube; anthers dorsifixed, included or slightly exserted. Ovary 2-locular; style bifid, branches filiform, subulate, shortly hairy. erect or recurved, exserted; ovules solitary, anatropous, placentation basal. Fruit a fleshy berry, subglobose; coccii 2, containing one seed in each coccus.
