Plants medium-sized, to ca. 3.5 cm long, pale green to yellowish green, in dense mats. Stem leaves broadly ovate, 2.01–2.79 mm × 0.95–1.26 mm, often curved at apex, distinctly constricted at insertion; margins entire at base, serrulate above; costae reaching mid-leaf or above; median leaf cells linear, 90–103 µm × 7–9 µm, with angled ends; alar cells differentiated, lax, shortly rectangular or hexagonal, extending close to costa at leaf base; branch leaves smaller, similar to stem leaves in shape; margins serrate above; costae slender. Perichaetial leaves ovate-lanceolate. Setae reddish brown; capsules ovoid, more or less curved; peristome normal; cilia 2. Spores not seen.
