Plants medium-sized, yellowish green or brownish green, glossy. Stems up to 2.5 cm long, irregularly pinnately branched; branches ca. 6 mm long or longer; pseudoparaphyllia triangular, shortly acuminate. Stem leaves erect to patent, sometimes curled, ovate-lanceolate, 1.5–1.7 mm × 0.5–0.6 mm, gradually and slenderly acuminate, twisted at apex, cordate at base, decurrent; margins plane or slightly recurved above, serrulate; costae double, ca. 1/5 the length; median leaf cells 50–65 µm × 3–4 µm, prorate; alar cells shortly rectangular or elliptic; branch leaves 1.3–1.4 mm × 0.3–0.4 mm, narrowly ovate-lanceolate, slenderly acuminate. Dioicous. Sporophytes not seen.
