general taxon notes:

Bryocrumia vivicolor was reported as Bryocrumia andersonii first time from China by Redfearn et al. (1989). It was collected in Yunnan province during a Sino-American botanical expedition. No sporophytes and inflorescences are present. This species is still a good example of significant disjunctions between eastern North America and eastern Asia.
