Annotation: authority citation often given as "Willd. ex Roem. & Schult."; however, Willdenow is indicated as having used the name C. dichotoma for this species, thus deserves no "ex" citation, and Schultes alone (without Roemer) was the author of Syst. Veg. Vol. 5 (see TL-2, as well as ICBN Art. 46, Ex. 11)
