Annotation: Publ. as "Adenocalymna", but the spelling as "Adenocalymma" is formally conserved. ICBN Appendix III notes only "orth. cons." for this name, and it has not been conserved against any older name (as yet, July 2013); however TROPICOS's Nomenclatural Reason annotation says "name and spelling conserved" because TROPICOS data convention presents this same information for all names cited in Appendix III as a general category, without detailing specific conservation action (GD pers. comm., 2013). See Brummit and Scudeller references for nomenclatural explanation. !CMT 2013
Nomenclature Reason: Nom. et orth. cons. Emend. L.G. Lohmann, Ann. Missouri Bot. Gard. 99(3): 382-383, 2013 [2014].
