Description Tree to ca. 6 m tall x 12 cm DBH. Sterile specimen. Kidoe and Kiswahili name: "Mpingo." Boiled roots used to treat impotence in men and stomach problems in women; stem used as fuel wood, but not very useful, it damages the cooking pan due to its wood durability.
Locality T6. Matipwili Village, Kisampa Sanctuary, Kudiinde Valley, evergreen thicket, plot #2.
