6. Taxiphyllum inundatumReim.    浮生鳞叶藓  fu sheng lin ye xian
Hedwigia 71: 71. 1931. Type: China. Guangdong (Kwangtung), Ta-poo, Sin et al. 33.
 
Plants aquatic. Stems bipinnately branched, branches up to 12 cm long, yellowish green, flattened, glossy. Leaves pseudodistichous, dense, erect-spreading, slightly concave, ovate- to oblong-ovate, gradually acuminate, 1.3–1.5 mm × 0.6–0.7 mm; margins serrulate above, recurved below, not decurrent; costae double, up to 1/3 the leaf length; leaf cells rhomboidal, ca. 50 µm × 6–8 µm, prorate; apical cells shorter; basal cells broader; alar cells not clearly differentiated. Sporophytes not seen.
