9. Brachythecium fasciculirameum Müll. Hal.   多枝青藓   duo zhi qing xian
Nuovo Giorn. Bot. Ital., n.s., 4: 269. 1897. Type: China. Shaanxi, Giraldi s.n.
Plants rather large, in loose mats. Stems prostrate, to 6.0–8.5 cm long, regularly pinnately branched, branches 0.7–2.0 cm long, more or less julaceous. Stem and branch leaves similar, broadly ovate-lanceolate or triangular-lanceolate, 1.26–1.58 mm × 0.36–0.60 mm, concave, rather abruptly slenderly acuminate, bi- to multi-plicate; margins entire, slightly incurved, decurrent at base; costae slender, reaching above mid-leaf; median leaf cells 54–75 µm × ca. 7 µm; alar cells developed, extending close to costa at leaf base. Sporophytes not seen.
