Plants small, pale green or yellowish green, in dense mats. Stems only to 2 cm long, prostrate, irregularly bi-pinnately branched, with short branches. Stem and branch leaves similar, loosely imbricate when dry, erect-spreading when moist, narrowly ovate- or triangular-lanceolate, 1.23–1.67 mm × 0.38–0.54 mm, more or less concave, slenderly acuminate toward apex, leaf bases somewhat truncate at insertion, occasionally auriculate; margins entire below, serrulate above; costae slender, ending well above mid-leaf; median leaf cells narrowly linear, 75–90 µm × 4–6 µm, with angled ends; alar cells quadrate or oblate, not extending close to costa at leaf base. Dioicous? Setae ca. 10–11 mm long, slightly reddish, smooth; capsules slightly inclined, ellipsoidal; opercula shortly conic-rostrate; peristome not seen. Spores not seen.
