Plants medium-sized, yellowish green, in dense mats. Stems prostrate, to ca. 3.5 cm long, irregularly branched, densely foliate, with erect or ascending branches. Stem leaves appressed when dry, spreading when moist, oblong-ovate-lanceolate, 1.64–1.98 mm × 0.70–0.77 mm, concave, slightly plicate, shortly slenderly acuminate at apex; margins entire; costae ending ca. 2/3 the leaf length; median leaf cells linear, 45–70 µm × 7–8 µm, with angled ends; alar cells moderately differentiated, quadrate or shortly rectangular, thin-walled; branch leaves elliptical-lanceolate, 1.23–1.31 mm × 0.33–0.39 mm, gradually or rather abruptly acuminate at apex; margins entire below, serrulate above. Dioicous. Setae ca. 12 mm long, smooth; capsules ellipsoidal, curved, inclined, necks not distinctly developed; peristome not seen. Spores not seen.
