Notes     (Last Modified On 3/31/2009)
general taxon notes:
Brachythecium salebrosum is similar to B. albicans, but it differs by its papillose upper setae, its often concave, distinctly plicate leaves with strongly constricted leaf bases and abruptly narrowed leaf apices, its median leaf cells with angled ends, and its alar cells not extending close to costa at leaf base.
