Plants slender, yellowish green, glossy, in dense mats. Stems ca. 4 cm long, in densely pinnately branched, branches slender. Stem leaves ovate-lanceolate, slenderly acuminate, ca. 1.3 mm × 0.4 mm; costae double, short; leaf cells rhomboidal, 8–12 µm × 3–4 µm, smooth; alar cells small, irregularly subquadrate; branch leaves small, more or less falcate-secund, serrulate at apex. Autoicous. Perichaetial leaves filiform at apex, entire. Setae 7–10 mm long; capsules small, ovoid, pendulous, ca. 0.6 mm long, opercula mammillose, conic, shortly rostrate.
