Primary stems creeping; secondary stems ca. 3 cm high, dark yellowish green, loose, erect, densely branched above, rhizoids more or less tomentose. Lateral leaves broadly ovate, asymmetric, ca. 2.0 mm × 1.5 mm, with abruptly shortly acute apices; leaf margins bordered by 1–2 rows of elongate cells, dentate from the apex to the middle of leaves; costa single, reaching 1/2 the leaf length; laminal cells rhomboidal-polygonal, 20–40 µm × 15–20 µm; amphigastria broadly cordate, symmetric, abruptly acute at the apex; leaf margins bordered by 1 row of elongate cells; costa reaching half of the length of leaves. Setae ca. 0.7–1.5 cm long, curved above; capsules inclined, ovoid; opercula long-rostrate, almost as long as the capsules.
