Plants medium-sized to rather robust, yellowish green, in loose mats. Stems prostrate, to ca. 5 cm long, densely or sparsely branched, loosely foliate; branches ca. 1.0 cm long, complanate, simple or with few branchlets, attenuate at tips. Stem and branch leaves more or less similar, broadly oblong-ovate, 2.16–3.15 mm × 1.08–1.22 mm, narrowly acute or shortly acuminate at apex; margins minutely serrulate above; costae reaching 1/2 to 2/3 the leaf length; median leaf cells long linear, 110–175 µm × 8–10 µm; basal cells shortly rectangular, lax; alar cells few. Perichaetial leaves lanceolate, slightly plicate, with a long filiform acumen. Setae elongate, ca. 20 mm long, curved, reddish brown; capsules inclined, elongate-ovoid; exostome teeth lanceolate; endostome segments linear-lanceolate, as long as exostome teeth; cilia long, 2–3. Spores not seen.
