3.  Rhytidiadelphus triquetrus(Hedw.) Warnst.   拟垂枝藓   ni chui zhi xian
Krypt.-Fl. Brandenburg, Laubm. 2: 920. 1906. Hylocomium triquetrum (Hedw.) Bruch. & Schimp. in B.S.G., Bryol. Eur. 5: 177. 1852. Hypnum triquetrum Hedw., Sp. Musc. Frond. 256. 1801. Type: Europe.
 
Plants reddish brown, few innovations on main stems. Stems ca. 10 cm long, pinnately branched, densely foliate; branches spreading, densely foliate, forming cuspidate or obtuse tips. Stem leaves somewhat spreading, rounded ovate at base, ca. 3.0 mm × 1.5 mm, irregularly plicate, erect or slightly reflexed at apex; margins serrate above, serrulate or crenate below; costae double, nearly parallel, slender, up to the middle of lamina; branch leaves erect-spreading, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate at apex; median leaf cells linear, 38–45 µm × 4–5 mm, walls somewhat incrassate, slightly pitted; upper leaf cells clearly papillose, or spinulosely papillose; basal cells short, rectangular, pitted, smooth; alar cells not differentiated, but small and subrectangular. Inner perichaetial leaves narrowly lanceolate, acuminate, ca. 4.5 mm long, entire, ecostate; paraphyses numerous. Setae 15–18 mm long; capsules horizontal or pendent, oblong-ovoid, 1.7–2.0 mm × 1.0 mm , reddish brown; opercula conic, shortly rostrate, ca. 0.9 mm long; exostome teeth ca. 0.75 mm long, yellowish brown or yellow above; endostome segments linear-lanceolate, as high as the teeth, perforated along median line; cilia 3. Spores 12–16 µm in diameter.
