2. Rhynchostegium fauriei Cardot   狭叶长喙藓   xia ye chang hui xian
Bull. Soc. Bot. Genève, ser. 2, 4: 381. 1912. Type: Korea. Isl. Quelpart, Faurie 460.
Plants slender, pale green, in loose mats. Stems prostrate, curved, irregularly branched, with curved branches. Stem and branch leaves similar, linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, 1.26–1.71 mm × 0.34–0.41 mm, somewhat secund, slenderly acuminate; margins serrulate nearly throughout; costae reaching ca. 2/3 the leaf length; median leaf cells linear, 53–88 µm × 5.5–6.0 µm, with rounded ends, smooth; basal cells shorter and broader; alar cells differentiated, shortly rectangular or quadrate. Sporophytes not seen.
