Plants soft, small, yellowish green. Stems prostrate, irregularly and remotely branched; branches flattened, 2–3 mm long; pseudoparaphyllia filamentous. Leaves ovate-lanceolate to broadly lanceolate, narrowly acuminate, 1.2–1.7 mm × 0.5–0.8 mm; margins entire; costae double, weak or absent; median leaf cells elongate-rhomboidal, 70–100 µm × 10–13 µm, thin-walled, lax; basal cells larger, marginal cells elongate; alar cells hardly differentiated; branch leaves similar to stem leaves. Autoicous. Inner perichaetial leaves narrowly lanceolate, slenderly acuminate, ca. 1.7 mm long, plicate. Setae ca. 1.3 mm long, bent; capsules oblong-ovoid, horizontal to inclined, ca. 0.9 mm long; peristome double, hypnoid, the teeth ca. 0.4 mm long.
