11. Plagiomnium medium (Bruch & Schimp.) T. Kop.   多蒴匐灯藓   duo shuo fu deng xian

Plants medium-sized, in loose tufts. Primary stems prostrate, with dense, yellowish brown rhizoids; infertile branches creeping, curved, radiculose below, sparsely foliate above; fertile branches erect, ca. 3.5–4.0 cm high. Leaves crisped when dry, spreading when moist, broadly elliptical, 5–7 mm × 3.8–4.2 mm, narrowed and slightly decurrent at base, abruptly acute, with long twisted tips at apex; margins bordered by 3–4 rows of elongate cells, sharply serrate throughout; costae percurrent; leaf cells rather large, rounded-hexagonal to elliptical, walls slightly thickened at corners. Synoicous. Setae clustered, 3–4 cm long, reddish below, yellowish red above; capsules elongate-ovoid, 3.0–4.5 mm × 1.2–2.0 mm, pendulous.
