Plants small, pale green to yellowish green. Stems ca. 10 mm long, sparsely branched. Leaves more or less complanate, erect-spreading, rounded ovate at base, gradually acuminate, 0.9 mm × 0.4 mm; margins serrulate above; costae indistinct; median leaf cells linear-rhomboidal, 40–50 µm × 4.0–4.5 µm, thin-walled, slightly thickened at corners; basal cells rhomboidal, 20–30 µm × 5–6 µm, thick-walled; alar cells not differentiated. Brood bodies not common, gemmae about 0.15–0.35 mm long. Sporophytes not seen.
