1b. Radulina hamata var. ferrei (Card. & Thér.) B. C. Tan & Y. Jia   弯叶细锯齿藓狭尖变种   wan ye xi ju chi xian xia jian bian zhong
J. Hattori Bot. Lab. 86: 45. 1999. Trichosteleum ferrei Card. & Thér., Bull. Acad. Int. Géogr. Bot. 18: 251. 1908. Type: Japan.
The leaf cells of this variety have a row of papillae. This is a character that clearly belongs to the genus Radulina. This is also the reason upon which Trichosteleum ferrei was transferred to Radulina (Tan and Jia 1999). Radulina hamata var. ferrei is different from var. hamata by the abruptly acuminate leaf apices.
