Description Small clustering palm. Stems to 4m tall, ca. 3cm diam., tending to be black; internodes ca. 15cm near the base, shorter near the crown. Crownshaft ca. 40 cm, green with white wax. Leaves arcuate, ca. 2m long, petiole 20 cm; leaflets very regular, strongly curved, ca. 40 on each side. Inflorescence in bud.
Locality Ambila-lemaitso Brickaville: Ambila-lemaitso, ca. 5 km south of village, Coastal forest on white sand.
